What Sentinel Does and Why It Exists

Infection prevention in the long-term care setting is high-stakes. Most facilities manage their programs on spreadsheets or paper, hoping nothing slips through before the next survey.

Sentinel replaces that. We built a compliance and infection prevention platform designed exclusively for skilled nursing facilities, memory care communities, and rehab centers. It gives directors of nursing, infection preventionists, staff development specialists and facility administrators one system to track staff credentials, monitor compliance across the facility, and stay ahead of expirations.

Our first module, Clearance, tracks six compliance requirements per employee: COVID and flu vaccinations, N95 fit testing, BLS/CPR certification, TB testing, and TB questionnaires. Dashboard alerts show expired and expiring credentials ranked by urgency, so you know exactly who needs attention and when.

We're also building Signal, our infection surveillance and antimicrobial stewardship module, and Rounds, our infection control audit system. Facilities that come on board now get early access as these modules roll out.
